Satellite Imagemap Goes Mobile

Planetary Visions' Satellite Imagemap of the World has been chosen by Nokia as the front-end to their online mapping service. Ovi Maps runs on the web and on the latest GPS-enabled handsets from Nokia, the world's largest manufacturer of mobile phones. The deal was struck earlier this year when Nokia updated Ovi Maps and released the Ovi Maps Player API for third-party web developers. learn more...

Planetary Visions has expanded its library of off-the-shelf animation material in partnership with science documentary maker York Films of England. Graphics produced by York Films are being made available through our Animation Library, expanding the range of astronomy subjects covered and adding a touch of artistic flair. Ice Worlds at Greenwich

This Saturday sees the UK premier of Ice Worlds at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich. A tour of the frozen moons and planets of the Solar System, Ice Worlds is the highlight of the Royal Observatory's contribution to the nation-wide Museums at Night weekend.
