SATELLITE IMAGEMAP OF AFGHANISTAN at 250 metres
Our Satellite Imagemap of Afghanistan is based on a multi-date composite of NASA MODIS images in natural colour, enhanced by hill-shading. It is available with optional overlay layers showing international boundaries, provincial boundaries and over 100 place names. Internal Afghan boundaries are up-to-date, showing the new provinces and boundary realignments from the period 2001-2005.
