Designed for use by illustrators and cartographers, the Maps In Minutes series provides vector mapping data ready-to-use in a desktop publishing environment. Hill-shaded raster background layers are available in a variety of styles, derived from global digital terrain data at a scale of 1:3 million. Fractal interpolation allows use of the terrain backgrounds up to a scale of 1:750,000 for regional maps of the British Isles.
