Our Satellite Imagemap of the Near East covers Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Israel, Gaza and the West Bank, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Cyprus, Georgia and most of Egypt at a pixel size of 250 metres. The region is extracted from our Satellite Imagemap of Europe, jointly developed with the German Aerospace Centre (DLR). This imagemap is enhanced by hill-shading based on digital terrain data, with natural colour optimised for this area. It is GIS-ready, available with optional land/sea mask, international boundaries and hill-shading layers. |
