Using specially developed in-house software, Planetary Visions can produce images and animations of galaxies that contains millions of stars, along with dust lanes and globular clusters.
The image shown here is taken from an animation (available for licensing) that flies the camera towards our galaxy and then into the plane of the disc. The flight takes the viewer amongst the stars of our galaxy, where the stars are placed correctly according to astronomical data. Custom-made high-resolution views can be generated showing our galaxy at any angle and distance.
