3D Universe, a state-of-the-art astronomical multimedia title, provides realtime interactive views of the Universe. Shown here is a screenshot of Ariel, one of the moons of Uranus. The surface of Ariel is modelled using the Ariel texture map, built by Planetary Visions using real data acquired by the Voyager spacecraft. 3D Universe also correctly plots the positions of the background stars and provides labelling.
