Zooms
Using data from multiple satellite systems, we can prepare images of the same area at several scales to allow animated zoom sequences from a full globe down to street level. We can co-register and colour-match each image layer so that the blends between layers are smooth and seamless.

The images here are stills taken from an animation sequence that zooms in to our central London office. The sequence uses imagery from five data layers:

- our Satellite Imagemap of the World, based on NOAA-AVHRR data at a pixel size of 1km
- our Satellite Imagemap of Europe, based on NASA-MODIS data at 250 metres
- our Southeast England image mosaic, based on Landsat data at 30 metres
- a photo from the International Space Station at 5 metres
- an air photo at 20cm
