A New View on Climate Change

Climate is on the agenda today at the Royal Society in London as the European Space Agency presents an overview of the scientific achievements of its Climate Change Initiative. Satellite observations of key climate variables are being presented in the form of an interactive visualisation tool developed for ESA by Planetary Visions. The tool gives access to long and detailed time sequences of data such as ocean temperature, helping climate scientists to "take the pulse" of planet Earth.
