Nighttime

Although some weather satellites have cameras sensitive enough to take images at night, they are of low resolution, suitable for global and regional views, but not close-ups of a city. For more detailed night-time views, we have developed automatic and manual image processing techniques for simulating a night-time view (right) from daytime satellite images or air photos (left).
